Club Objectives
 
The Club shall be run for the benefit of all members to enable them to learn and play volleyball to the level that their abilities and commitment allows. The club shall adopt an open policy and welcome individuals into its membership irrespective of age, gender, race, abilities (physical or mental) or sexuality.

The club currently supports the following teams
 
Men
National Volleyball League Super 8 Division
Yorkshire Premier League

Women
National Volleyball League Division 2 (North)

Mixed
South Yorkshire Volleyball League
 
Fees
 
The following fees were agreed for the 2011/12 season
 
NVL
£40/month for 8 months for all NVL players plus £80 registration fee
£30/month for 8 months for all NVL players classed as students, unemployed or low income plus £60 registration fee
 
Note: Registration is non-refundable and must be paid at time of registering with club
 
All NVL players must also complete and return a standing order form unless paying for season.

Recreational Players/Visitors - Cost £4/session; students/under 16/unemployed £2.50
Note: From 1st April 2012 these fees increase to £5 and £3
 
Juniors – fees to be decided dependent on length and time of session.  If invited into the squad sessions then appropriate fees would be due.
 
 
Training Times
 
Men’s MS8: Tuesday 6pm - 8pm, other sessions take place at EIS, Sheffield  
 
Women’s NVL: Tuesday 8pm- 10pm, Thursday 8pm - 10pm
 
Recreational Volleyball: Sundays 4pm – 6pm @ All Saints Sports Centre

Directions:
From junction 33 M1, follows signs for A630 Sheffield City Centre. At the roundabout follow signs for A61 Chesterfield. Go past Sheffield station on your left, and after a further half mile you will see a Macdonald's. Here, turn left onto Granville Road and take first right (Norfolk Park Road). The sports centre entrance is approximately 100 yards on your right.

Player commitment
 
In common with most clubs Sheffield Volleyball expects a level of commitment from all club members.  Each team will decide what level of commitment this will involve but as a basis it will include
 
Attendance at training
Set up/clean-up of facility after training/matches
Payment of fees on time
Assistance with other club supporting roles
Supporting the coach/captain
Kit/equipment responsibilities
Sharing of workloads
Be willing to accept the consequences (as decided by individual teams) if the above is not done
 
Junior Development
 
The club has an active junior development team and all programmes will be advertised on the club’s notice board at All Saints/Goals Sports Centre and on the website.
